Swimming Pool Installation

The NJ Pool Installation Process:

Swimming pool installation is not difficult, but it should only be done by knowledgeable professionals.

The process for NJ pool installation are as follows:

• Select a swimming pool type:
The first step in the process of pool installation is very important; it involves selecting the pool you want. If your focus is mainly on inground swimming pools, you have the option of selecting from three different types: concrete, fiberglass and vinyl-lined.

Each type of inground pool comes with its own advantages and downsides. For example, the concrete pools are the most popular due to the fact that they can be tailor-built to fit your description, but they can also be the most expensive of the three pool types depending on their size and they can take longer to install than the others.

Fiberglass pools are the easiest and quickest to install, and require little or no maintenance.

Although vinyl-lined pools are the least expensive, their maintenance costs over time may negate the money saved during the building process due to the fact that the liners need to be replaced at certain intervals (usually every 8 -10 years is recommended).

• Compare the prices:
After selecting a pool type, the next step is to compare the prices of the selected type across different companies. The cost should include both installation and maintenance cost.  At NJ Pool Builders and Service we pride ourselves on being able to provide the highest quality of materials and service at the most affordable prices!

• Consider building and zoning regulations:
The third step in the process is to know what building and zoning regulations apply in your location where you want to install the pool. Different states have different regulations for building swimming pools. In NJ pool installation requires that an application be made for a building permit and approval granted before you can start any work.

• Choose a location for the swimming pool:
After applying for a permit and getting approval, you need to decide where the pool is to be built. Some of the few factors to consider in choosing a location for your pool are: the exposure of the place to sunlight, the altitude of the location, distance of the pool from the house, and the presence of power and sewage lines.

• Plan for maintenance and other things:
Before installing your pool, you need to choose a circulation system for the pool. This system ensures that the pool water is always clean and clear. These systems include sanitization and filtration systems and also a system for heating the pool.

• Final steps:
Once all of the previous steps have been completed, you are now ready to install your swimming pool.

The final steps include excavating the ground, grading the bottom for the pool, adding frames to the walls of the dug-out and configuring the plumbing work and electricity.
